So here I am in Lansing at Sparrow, it's 6:15 and what am I doing?? I'm in
the library researching for discussion topics for rounds tomorrow.
Contraction alkalosis, hyperkalemia secondary to beta agonists and
catecholamine cardiomyopathy. Woohoo. Ok, I'll admit that perhaps part of
my lack of enthusiasm is being tired after going to the bar last night (to
wear my costume one more time-- no, not a good reason)
Anyway, I found this:
" ...investigation of an adrenal incidentaloma "
sounds a little corny (or maybe someone else was tired after a night out at
the bar). Sounds kind of like the "positive arrow sign" (ie, the
radiologist thinks this is important, you dope)
wish me luck. I haven't even had night call yet and I'm very very tired.
