Been a busy month...
Only two and a half more days of Pediatrics (*sniff*); I've been having a LOT of fun, and Dr. Dyer thinks it's fun to try to convince me to choose Peds-- it's not a big leap, honestly. I like the atmosphere in this clinic, and talking with the kids and parents. The exam is all about making it a game-- talking with the parent, observing the child play and interact, and at the end doing the actual "physical exam." Heck, I'd be happy if someone paid me to come in and play with kids all day.

I just returned from Lansing; there was SNOW on the ground near Gaylord (my brain screamed when I saw it). I also called up to pledge to CMU's npr station because I listen to it every day. It was fun hearing my name on the radio, and they even mentioned that I was from Portage but living in Cheboygan. (surprise)

Visited Skye in Marquette last weekend with Aaron and Tim & Amy; went driving on the country road 510 and the "triple A." The back roads had beautiful tree color, and there were even patches of blueberries out there, some a little squishy after the last frost. Then we stopped at Seney to birdwatch a bit. I'm not actually good enough to see the BIRD, I usually see the space the bird just LEFT.

Two big things on my mind tonight: democracy and public radio....
EVERYONE GO VOTE ON NOVEMBER 2ND!! and GO SUPPORT YOUR NPR STATION!!
